The Waagner-Biro panel bridge system has been successfully used for temporary site bridges. In October 2003, several temporary bridges were installed at the building site of the “Bindermichl” junction of the motorway A7 "Mühlkreisautobahn": a 42m long replacement bridge for road traffic as per Austrian Standard ÖNORM 4002 (bridge class I) and two footbridges crossing the A7 with a total length of 61m each.
