The Seoul Arts Centre, one of Korea's leading art and cultural centres, offers its visitors an opera house, a concert hall, a theatre, museums and a library.

Following an opera stage fire in December 2007, new stage machinery had to be installed as quickly as possible. Against international competition, Waagner-Biro Stage Systems successfully overcame the time problem.
150 hoists for the over stage machinery, including the CAT controls, were delivered punctually in November 2008. The remaining stage machinery was installed in teamwork with a local company.
